lift pump options

Just wondering if anyone has used an aftermarket fuel pump such as Holley or quick fuel. They make a couple that put out 6-9 psi and it seems that these trucks could use it. I know Heath Diesel makes a "heavy duty" version. Your thoughts please?

Has anyone used Kennedy's OPS wire loom and new lift pump yet?

autozone replacement pump puts out about 9 psi..

When the Carter pump failed on my motor home I installed a Holley Red pump. 97 GPH ~7psi, rebuildable and around $95. If(when) my lift pump fails on my '00 chevy I would like to install one on it. The motorhome used an electric pump at the tank to push the fuel to the factory liftpump.

What is the part number on the Autozone pump? Search didn't turn up anything. Thanks.
