Does anyone have recommended sources for battery cable and related components for someone custom building their own? I'm looking for bulk, along with related shrink tube, cable ends, etc, but.

I've looked around the net some and so far www.wranglernw.com appears to be one site with everything in one spot, but not sure of their prices, but I don't want to cut corners on quality nor be forced into buying 100 ft minimum. I'm considering 2/0 welding cable, I have the crimp tools, etc. Thanks.

I have used them in the past for some small wiring upgrades to my truck. I had some more to do and a good while back I had generated a worksheet with all the things I needed.

I got ready to order and went to their web page. Man has it changed. You cannot get to all their products from their web site any more yet their PDF catalog hasn't changed in a long while. The really bad thing is that I emailed them to ask some things and I have never received a response.

I'm not above using them again but I'm becoming a little leary of buying from them. I know that their new page may be a little bit prettier but IMHO it's far less usable.

I have never used McMaster-Carr (http://www.mcmaster.com/) bu I have looked around on their site and they have a lot. I've heard pretty good things about them as well.

I found Waytek Wire (http://www.waytekwire.com/) one time and their site looks pretty good and fairly comprehensive but I know nothing more than the web site information offers.

Hope this helps and good luck in your searching.

www.delcity.net

I believe they have a $25 minimum order but the selection is huge.

I have used Waytek quite often for my side business and highly recommend them. Their customer service is excellent. The only thing they do not have is the cable ends for side-post batteries.

Thanks for the input - I'm leaning towards them as a source along with these:

http://www.solarseller.com - varienty of components, terminals, etc
http://www.weldingdepot.com - reasonable prices on welding cable
http://www.cableyard.com - Superior cable supplier
