What tells the glow plugs to operate? Does the ECU get a signal from the coolant temperature sensor, then energize the glow plug controller?
My "Wait to Start" light comes on everytime I turn the key on, even if I just shut off the truck. Is that normal? My other diesels don't turn on the glow plug light if they have been run anytime in the last few hours (even on a cool day).
