thanks to 65 TD for answering my question.I now need to know what is stepper motor & IP? I am an Aussie & dont know all the short cuts to the various parts.Hope some one can solve my Problem.

IP - injection pump

stepper motor - are part of the injection pump. increases timing

I was having trouble with smoking and low power. Read a post here talking about wiring or fuel lines might be causing the problem at the stepper motor. I ran a long screwdriver down beside the IP and what a world of difference. Although I don't have that smoke signal in the mirror to let me know when its time to shift. Oh well, I guess I can learn to live with that!

And we won't hold it against you if your toilet swirls the wrong way. :)

Thanks a5150nut will try your suggestion. I have had the ip replaced & now I cant get any power while towing my caravan. Yep I guess my toilet does swirl the wrong way here down under,but it still works!! :) :)
