My 2006 C3500 Dually almost took a trip across the border.

Hello, I was in Las Vegas a few days ago and my 2006 C3500 had the Driver's door key tumbler popped out in a theft attempt. Fortunately that trick doesn't seem to work anymore to allow entry. I still have the truck sans the key tumbler and small scratches on the door where the pop out tool was placed. Thank heavens for whomever designed that new door lock.

Now I'm curious as to the potential cost of replacing that key tumbler? I suppose it means pulling off the door upholstry etc. Any tech's out there have a guestimate?

Your Insurance should pay for it. Hope they can key it the same as your ignition.

It's not too bad a job. Fuigre 1-1.5hrs as a guess.
