Need some help

Im thinking of buying a 1998 chevy 1500 with a 6.5 diesel with 126k and im new to the 6.5 so what im wondering is what kinda things do i need to look for on this truck. Also can you guys give me anything that i need to know about these trucks. im looking for a very solid/srtong truck that will last. please give me some advice.

Hi,
I had PMD and similar problems with my 96, but believe I worked through them. The engine has been good for me. You can count on some problems with that mileage, but they are usually bearable, especially if you can do some of your own diagnosis and repair.
