And I have some questions...
First off, they say the DB2-4979 is the injection pump of choice. I have a 91 suburban. Can I just turn mine up an 1/8 turn to get the same effect?
2nd, the one guy in there mentioned having a toggle switch that advanced the timing 3 degrees. Is that worth while and how did he go about doing that?
Love my 6.2 and want to get as much out of it as possible. Thanks guys

He is probably activating the cold advance with his switch.

Depending on which engine you have C or J they can be made to do the same job.
If you have a C engine it will have EGR the J does not.
Install big exhaust and get the pump and injectors to J specs

A J intake can be swapped onto a C engine

I have the J engine. So what do I need to do to it besides big exhaust if I have everything else? Do I have a good injection pump, or do I need to get the 92-93 injection pump?
