Gentlemen, I sold my '94 6.5 last night and will not be returning to Chevy. I wanted to say thanks to all of you that made driving the 6.5 much easier. The mods you guys taught me made all the difference in the world. I will always remember "Big Brown" fondly. But now on to my new Powerstroke. Yea, I know I've sinned by buying one but the family wanted the rear seat leg room and all I wanted was a new truck. Take care..God Bless all of you........

Thanks for the note - and good luck with your purchase. No doubt the diesel basics learned here will help you with your Ford as well.

Good Luck with your Stroke.
I started out with a Ford years ago and ended up with a GM and have had many diesels. I migrated to a Dodge cummins and then to a Stoke. Well Im back home now in a GM with 6.5 and lovin it. My Humvee Replica Kit truck is being built on an 82 Suburban and its got an 87 6.2 with many items including a serp drive off of a 92 6.5 on it. I guess I have come full circle.
