When I am towing 5th wheel trailer on rare occasions when I am applying the brakes the air conditioner fan cuts out until the brakes are released.Is this an overloaded electrical problem??? Anyone hear of this condition.The truck is an 05 chev HD and trailer is 34ft 5th wheel. Any advice would be appreciated.

That's a first for me. I don't know that I'll come up with an answer, but knowing what kind of brake controler you have might be helpful.

I used to hang out at www.IRV2.com when I had a 5th wheel. There's a lot of accumulated knowledge over there. If this is common it's bound to have happend to someone there.

The brake controller is a Draw-Tite Activator 111 which I understand they have discontinued selling. I don`t think it is the controller.
