Where's the best location for pyro probe and the boost fitting. All the inside the cab stuff is under control. Thanks

You can also get the gist from the review we produced a while back for an Edge/Attitude install.

In addition, I would recommend that the NPT (National Pipe Thread) fitting you screw into the manifold not be tightened all that much. NPT fittings are tapered. The tighter you make them, the more spreading forces they exert on the surrounding manifold. Some have experienced cracks in the cast-iron exhaust manifold. I don't know if it'll help, but "good and snug" should be tight enough for the fittings. I've installed several pyrometers in these Duramax manifolds and have not seen one crack yet. Some have been on the road for more than 5 years now. I don't overtighten them.
