I just switched out a bad 6.2 to a good 6.2 in my 89 Suburban. The good motor came out of a 83 pickup.
Before I switch the motors the glow plugs were working well. When I turned key for the first time, there was a spark at the passenger battery and I do not have any power to the glow plug controller. I suspect the fusible link has been fried, but I don't know where it is at.
Any help is appreciated. Hopefully I'll have the suburban going this weekend and the wife will be happy.
