I have the power extendable mirrors and they have slowly gotten to the point where they vibrate pretty bad. Its the glass that is shaking in the mirror. Especially the passenger side. Is there anything that can be done? I did a search and could not find much.:(

Powerservice in Oregon have rebuilt mine twice due to accidents. They do a very good job and use all oem parts.

Maybe you have a tire out of balance that contributes to the shaking? How new are your shock absorbers?

The power entendable mirrors on my 05 shook from day one.

I specifically looked for manual mirrors when I was shopping for the 07 Classic.

I don't think I have a tire out of balance. My shocks are bilstiens with approx. 45k on them. My passenger side mirror will sometimes shake just sitting still with the engine idleing .

We've had a lot of customers convert from these mirrors to the Schefenacker TTT mirrors due to problems ranging from poor visibility to mechanical issues.

I can vouch for the TTT mirrors. I bought mine from Monroe Truck Equipment 2 years ago. I have 50K on my truck with these mirrors and they are great. They are vibration free and allow me to see down both sides of my 8'6" wide enclosed gooseneck. They are much better than the power extend mirrors and the "Crooked" 06-current OE mirrors.

Is there any way to tighten the mechanism that holds the lens?
