My dad has 2005 CC Dmax. There is no power to the trailer charge wire at the rear. Is there a certain fuse or some pigtail that is maybe disconnected? This is for the 12v charge terminal for the trailer battery.

If it's the same as the '06, you need to install the fuse in the under hood fuse block, for "Stud 1," IIRC. It's the one closer to the firewall (IIRC...)

40 amps or less.

Thank you. I will take a look and see if it is missing. If it is something that has to be installed after purchase it is probably missing. He has not done much ot the truck.

The truck should have come with a pigtail to hook a brake controller up with. Taped to the pigtail is a big square fuse, 30amp I believe.

That fuse needs to be plugged into "B1" in the under hood fuse block. If it is like mine was there is an orange/red protector in the space which is held in with a sticker.

Thank you for the info. I was wondering if it would have that pigtail. My Fords came with that stuff in the glovebox. Do the Chevy's usually put it in the glovebox as well? I have not looked in there yet but I will. He needs to add a trailer brake controller as well, so I hope it is still around somwhere.

I moved the one from my 05 to my 07, they plug into the upper left of the power center that is at the driver's left toe.

I Have an extra that can be yours for the price of shipping.

Just let me know if you find his.
