Hello,

I own a 95 suburban Diesel. I must say that i like the truck, but i'm having a little bit of a problem.

The truck feels like it has NO power. You floor it and it goes no where. I can't hear the turbo spooling (don't know if i should be able to or not). While its floored and going no where, I notice that the truck is smoking.

I was wondering/hoping if this was a simple fix. Like a check valve out somewhere, vaccumme line off.

Any info would be great. Thanks.

Good Day!

Black smoke = insufficient air (99% of the time), which almost always means boost is gone.

At idle, the vacuum pump creates ≥ 20" vacuum; the Wastegate Actuator Solenoid sends ~ 3/4 of that to the Wastegate Actuator.
