I am positive my new rebuild has a bad injector as you can blip the throttle and pick up a knock and slight miss at the same time.
Now the 64k question what is the best way to track it down to the individual cyl? Loosen injector line and see if knock is gone ,or a stethescope hopefully pinpointing the noisey cyl?.
I've had a couple of the old 5.7's and never had injector issues like this, this engine only has about a hours running time on it.
Any thoughts are appreciated. :(

If you listen very carefully you might hear a difference between banks but you'll have to short out the Injectors by loosening fuel lines.

Does this engine miss at idle, or only under acceleration? A bad injector should cause a miss at all speeds, I would think.

I usually loosen injector lines to find the bad one.. once I thought I had a bad injector, turned out to be a bad case of air lock in line, ran great after bleeding.
