i own a 05 GMC 2500HD and i think i would like to level the front end with torrison keys. i do not intend to put a suspension lift on the truck. i do however plan to put 265/75 on the truck.
i would like to know if anyone has any info or experience with torrison keys for these types of trucks. thanks gmc05

Welcome to the Forums!

If all you are doing is leveling, the OEM keys will do fine. The 265 tires won't have clearance issues. You can raise the front end aout 1.5" with the OEM keys w/o much concern of the CV/shaft angles. If you raise it more than about .5", be sure to get an allignment after.

Installing aftermarket keys w/o other compensation components is not advised. The OEM keys are capable of exceeding prudent lift levels. The key "kits" should contain components to help maintain reasonable CV/shaft and steering linkage angles, as well as longer shocks, if necessary.

I've been thinking about leveling my truck but thought the $200 plus for the kit was a little steep.

I just found out I can buy the keys and the tool for less money.

Shocks will come later with the fronts having a longer trhow.

Thanx!
