Howdy All, Brain fell apart today and not able to recall how to remove the brake light switch on this beast. Think it is the switch as sometimes it works and sometimes not. Reach under and wiggle the switch by the brake pedal and away it goes until the overloads bounce me out of the seat and the brake lights no longer work again. Think it;s the switch as the signals work and so does the hazzard lights. Looks as if there is a metal "clip" of some sort holding the switch in place. Do I pry open or squeeze together this thing?:confused:

I've seen 2 kinds - one that threads directly into the bracket, and another that just pushes in and is held in place by a sheetmetal nut on the firewall side.
