I've been kicking the idea around about adding a gear splitter to my 98 k3500 I prefer to drive in the 70 -75 mph range and the 4:10 make the engine trun 2200-2400 rom not sure never really watched just know its loud. Splitting od would make the truck better on the raod but still give me the low end I need when pulling the trailers I pull time to time.

now for the question anyone have agood line on one of these units, or a good used unit let me know thanks

I have a GearVendor on my van. Happy with it although have had a few problems. Bought it used, so don't know the history of it.

I have a 700R4 with 4:10 gears. With the GearVendor in OD it is comparible to 3:23 gears. It revs around 1700rpm at 65.

thanks for i the input i'm leaning more toward the gear vendor set up. just hoping to find a dealer or source that can get a good price on one by direct from them will cost me 2900 plus shipping
thanks

If you have a camping world close to you they have them in stock and can do installation too. But you're right they ain't cheap. There used to be one in the classifieds for sale other than that it's eBay.
