Those pictures have been hitting quite a few forums lately - some say as a possible Darwin Award contender! :D

I saw these pictures a while back. My guess is that somebody was really bored one day, and decided to see what they could come up with as the most ridiculous way to tow a 5th wheel.

It couldn't possibly be legit, mostly because the first time this vehicle turned into a driveway, the trailer would smash the back end of the blazer to pieces.

It's gotta be a bad prank. (Please oh please!!)

:D

If it is not a prank, one of the best Dee Dee Dee's I've ever seen!

I particularly like the precision cut wooden support block from the ball mount to the tailgate... :D

I remember I was on I-95 one day in the Carolinas and traffic was really heavy. I-95 is only 2 lanes in this area and there is virtually never any heavy traffic, so it seemed odd. As the cars ahead moved into the left lane, I could see the problem. A Honda Oddessy minivan was towing roughly a 24' Airstream trailer at about 45 mph on a ball mount hitch. The rear of the van was practically dragging the ground and the front end was about to come off the ground. He was at least responsible enough to put some add-on 12" extension towing mirrors. Boy how I wish I had a camera that day.

 I can't believe that all this time and no one has picked up on the solution to the infamous breaking tail gate cables. It's right there in front of you!:D
