Crankshaft from 6.2 in a 6.5 block (599)

Can i use a crankshaft from a -88 6.2l in a -93 6.5l block (599) with one piece seal.

As long as your 6.2 crank has the one piece seal setup you can go right ahead with it. They are the same shaft as the 6.5 uses.

88 6.2L will have a two piece rear main seal crankshaft. The 599 cast blocks all require the single piece rear main seal crank, they are machined differently for sure.

But, as robyn stated, if the crank is for a single piece rear main seal, it won't matter 6.2 or 6.5, but in your case, with an 88, keep hunting for a crank.
