Okay, I am serious now, for all the talking is over!
Looking to swap in a 6.2L oil burner in my 1986 Grand Wagoneer
The current AMC 360 runs strong, but OH WOW is it ever thirsty!

Other FSJ owners have performed this swap and are getting 22MPG in a 5000# rig!
NICE!

Engine and tranny combo is most desired.
I am not picky, but my preferences are later model 6.2L and 700R4.
Will talk to you about a 6.5TD, but am wanting to stick with an all mechanical engine.

A rusted or wrecked donor would ideal.
A donor would provide many smaller parts to help with the swap.

I am on a budget, this why I seeking a donor and not a crate motor, so be kind to me.

Got an 83 Blazer with a 6.2 and 700R4 that needs work . Motor seems to run fine , trans only has second gear . Truck is really a parts truck or mudder . Doesn't look too bad , floors need some work . Has a lift and bigger tires . PO replaced the head gaskets . $400 OBO .

Just remember that the early 6.5TDs were mechanical - a large part of the reason I have my '93.
