Did the lifter roller skid? I've seen this on a 6.2 that I overhauled several years ago.

If you go the repair route, you should count on getting a cam and all new lifters. If other components are good, that would be my recommendation.

Did you find any cracks in the mains webbing areas?

If not, then I second ronniejoe's suggestion - new cam and lifters, and timing set = chain, both sprockets.

Don't know lobe is worn down about 1/2" before top of lobe the rest of it looks fine. Bought truck back in August and bent a pushrod within a couple of weeks. Replaced lifter and pushrod but old lifter roller looked fine.I think it's just abad cam all other lobes are fine for 133000.Dennis

Didn't find any cracks. If I go with new cam & liffters I'll go gear drive. It seem"s low on compression when I turned it over with a screw driver while inspecting. Dennis

Good news, good choice - and, good luck with it.

If you are fortunate enough to have an engine block without cracks, run with it.
