another newbe question

Is there a way to hook up a electric tach to a 87 6.2 It is an 88 C3500 but is the old body style so it is the 87 6.2. Please help.

If you have the vacuum pump with the Engine Speed Sensor on top, you can use the Blazer inst cluster with tach - black plastic module, connector has 3 wires, can still be purchased from GM - Kalifornia trucks and some automatic trans trucks had that sensor
