NERF BAR / RUNNING BOARD ? for suburban

I'm beginning to look into picking up a set of nerf bars or running boards for my 96 2500 SUB. Are these vehicle specific or will a set from a 3/4 ton pick up also fit?

Let me re-phrase that will they fit without having to do a bunch of modifications... ie drilling

The frames are different between the Burbs and the pickups.

You can certainly make the pickup ones work but its gonna take some fabrication on the brackets and such

If you just want to do a bolt on a fresh set is in order.

I figured as much. Was hoping for one of those little know secerets. They just don't have the options for the suburbans like they do the pick ups. I may hold tight, find a set i like and fabricate brackets if need be. Thanks
