I found a Sirius receiver that works with the satellite radio features built into the factory stereo (I did NOT have XM previously). I installed it the other day and sure enough, I've got Sirius radio on my factory stereo. It supports changing categories, two sets of preset channels, and tuning using the steering wheel controls. Now I no longer have to plug and unplug a separate satellite receiver or deal with wires hanging out of the dash. My old portable Sirius unit now goes into my wife's car (this new rcvr is not compatible with hers).

The receiver is the SIR-GM1 and is available from Sirius and other sources. Here's some info: http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?search=sirius+sirgm1&i=607SIRGM1

Thank you. I just bought a 07 model and am wanting to set up Sirius. I have an entire XM receiver setup but need the NASCAR channel from Sirius. I stripped it from the old truck prior to selling. Thanks for the heads up.
