View Full Version : Phazer Dual Idler Gear Drive what would you do about???

Well I got my phazer gear set in today. I want everyones opinions on what you would like to see? I am going to take some stock vrs the gear pics. Alot of pics that is. I just want to make sure I do not forget to get any for future help for everyone here. Please speak up !!! now or never that is....lol Just pretend you have this in front of you scratching your head.. :confused: What do I want for future reference...hmmm

I was going nuts w/timing only to find from JK and others there is a 2 deg advance built into gears, money well spent...........

Well I got all 120 photos and got it installed finally It only took me 4 hours to get everything done.:eek:

You know... I'd be willing to pay shipping and a few extra bucks if you'd burn those photos to a CD for me... :) Likely others would as well...

Well, if you tore the front of your engine apart, removed the timing chain set and replaced with the gear set, and took 120 photos along the way all in 4 hours, and had it running, that is pretty darn amazing, maybe even unbelievable.

Good for you though if you did.

Did you measure the slack on the old chain set?

No my truck is still down. It took me that much time to take old set off and put the new set on. Yes I have a video of it here you go.

I liked the fotos of the fuel filter , and the video of the voltmeter/alternator problem too.
