It seems there are a number of remote systems out there, the question being which one is the best, most cost effective, and also fits on a K2500

I am posting a link to a site that has more links to a number of different Oil bypass vendors, granted they seem to be geared to the big rig trucks, but I think some of the units are small enough to use on a chevy

I liked the specs and technical description of the racor LFS-800. -Racor product descrpition (http://www.parker.com/parkersql/default.asp?type=2&id=341) - My prefernce also would be to find a cartridge style unit as opposed to canisters.

The trick I guess is installation. I cant see myself getting into Hollow bolts like Lee has done in his article.

I like the amsoil remote setup, but maybe cobbling together parts from this company would work too and allow a Big Rig Trucker style setup - Speedway Motors Bypass kit + parts (http://www.speedwaymotors.com/product.ASP?wc=true&strBase_List=&hilt=&source=2191&base_no=7201045&str_base_no=000-CATALOG+RACE,373HP1,465070025,4988800,54523845,545 23901,54535500,60710030,7201017,7201024,7201025,72 01028,7201030,7201032,7201045,91015166,91015175,91 015181,91081031,&header_title=Race+Products-Oil+Filters+&+Adapters&page_name=prod_list_display&search_type=L2~123&search_option=&deptsearch=&dept_id=L2~123&dept_id_p=&dept_name=&dept_name_p=Race+Products&ShowImages=yes&sq=0&cont=1&intPgNo=1&redirect=) - Then maybe using these parts its possible to rig in a the LFS-800 or the smallest Puradyn unit - Puradyn Products (http://www.puradyn.com/products/specs.html)

Hope all these links work and someone finds them interesting

Thanks in advance for your feedback
