I would like to hook up a 12V pump somewhere in the back of my Suburban.

The orange wire that runs to the plug for the trailer brakes carries a constant 12Vs right? Would it be ok to use a trailer style plug on the end of my 12V transfer pump and plug it in there?
Would there be a better source?

Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

Nothing wrong with using the 12V trailer charge circuit. If the connection is temporary, the trailer connector is an excellent idea. If it's permanent, splice into the harness. If you need help with the plug wiring, there's a diagram in the "truck stuff pics" in my sig.

Cool, that's what I thought, and was hoping to hear.
Thanks!!
