Hello all,

I am within a few hours of making a deal with a 2007 Classic CC, new, LBZ.
I so much appreciate this forum. The help from reading the posts have been extremely helpful.
I very much enjoy my 2002 LB7 but with 90K and no problems it is time for me to trade it in. I hope I Get the same power that I get with my 02 edge pac set on the 30 HP setting. It is like driving a 4 ton corvette.
Can anyone give me an idea if the throttle will be as responsive(and quick) on this new 07 as it is on my 02?

Thanks,

Mark

Sorry the throttle response won't be the same in an 07 compared to the 02. It is much better in the 07's. :D

I never owned an 02 or driven one that was chipped. I only drove new stock ones, which is my comparison point. There will be chips/tuners for the new trucks, but I think they run great stock..

Welcome back Mark!

One thing I've noticed about the newer trucks, is how more refined the powertrain appears to be. GM recognizes that people interpret throttle response as an indication of power. You won't be disappointed!

Thanks,

MarkI traded the 2K2 LB7 fuel injector failed 3 times (98K miles) truck this week for the classic 2007 LBZ. It's got a much better acceleration than the LB7. You'll be pleasantly surprised. It will scoot...

Dealer started at 17500 and I got him up to 18250 after asking for 19000.

My truck was used for farming, hauling GN trailers, hauling tree spade with bumper pull. The bumper pull was totally worn out. You can just about stick your thumb in the receiver hitch hole for the retaining pin. I had some minor body damage from opening up the door into a 60 mph gust and the line-x in the box was dented in a few places. It runs awesome still but it was not cherry.
Hope this helps,

Mark
