18:1 pistons

I'm thinking about rebuilding the '90 6.2 , and turbocharging it (6.5 turbo,exhaust manifolds, etc.). I know you can get 18:1 6.5 pistons; but can you get off the shelf 6.2, 18:1 pistons?

First off

Welcome to TDP :D :D :D

Yes you can get lower compression pistons for the 6.2 They are 19.5:1 I believe for the 6.2

The same folks that make these make the 6.5 pistons

Make sure you order pistons with the coated crown as well as the teflon coated skirts

The coated crown helps the piston reject heat and the teflon skirt coating will eliminate scuffing under high heat operation.
