6.5 turbo injectors in a NA 6.2

Is there any problem if I run a set 6.5 turbo injectors that fit my 1994 in my 1989 NA 6.2 diesel engine? They both look the same just by looking at the two engines side by side. I'm not sure about thread size of the injector body or the fuel fitting thread size. I have been told that they are both the short injector with fine thread bodies. I guess the nozzle pattern or shims is the difference? They do not have a same stock number. Will the 6.2 engine run okay with the turbo injectors? Has anybody done this and how did it work out. i'v been running 6.5 turbo injectors in my na 6.2 without any problems.Mine is a 90 with heads that have the same casting # as the 6.5.I went with the turbo injectors because i will install a turbo one day:D

:) Yukon6.2--- are the 6.5 heads you have on your 6.2NA original heads or some that you installed? Just curious but is there any difference between a 6.5 turbo and 6.5 non turbo head? What is the difference between 6.2 and 6.5 heads?

My 6.2 came with the same casting# heads,unfortanatly the originals where cracked from the seats towards the cyl wall making them unuseable.
