SLT mirrors for SL swap

Hi, wonderng if anyone knows off hand if you swap the Power folding-Heat-Signal light from an SLT to a SL truck (same year 06) if the folding option would work without mods. Striaght PnP?

The real question is will the power folding be functional without mods on a truck W/O stock, but with the other options?

You can swap the mirrors, but then you need to take the truck to the GM dealership and have them reprogram the DDM and the PDM so that the option change. There is a thread on this in the vehicle accesories area I do believe.
