as far as the duramax is concerned? I'm looking at a 2007 chevy with the older body style, not the gmt900 or whatever it's called. Is this a lly or lmm? does it have the extra emission crap?
also what's the GVRW for a 07 extended cab 4wd short bed? is it 9200 or something around that, also, what should this truck weigh empty? when did they start with the 100k warranty on the rest of the truck?
thank you!!!

Hey Jason! 2007 classic trucks had the LBZ (360 horse 650 torque). The LLY and LBZ are simular in appearance and they do not have the DPF on them. The LMM in the GMT900 trucks do have the DPF. I do believe that the GVW is 9200 Lbs. But you can go to http://www.gmc.com/ to check out all the specs for yourself. And the 100k warranty started in 2007 and again you will have to consult your dealer or the website for more information. ;)

My 3500 LMM C.C, weighs 7680 with a 1/2 tank of fuel.
The best I can suggest is find some scales like a truck stop(that might cost $) or a sand & gravel pit which that should be no charge.

I work on alot of DMAX trucks and have only replaced two (both LLY) turbos and both were because of bearing/ bushing failure.
