home built turbo on a 84 6.2

hey i'm looking at building my own turbo kit for my diesel i was wondering if anyone out there has done this and if anyone knows what kind of turbo i should use on my build up thanks

Search here and read through some of the postings. The stock GM-8 turbo works well on these engines, and can usually be found cheap on Ebay. Several of us have tried the MHI TE06H with good results, and a few have even run the HX-35 from a 5.9 Cummins. If you know a really god turbo guy, they could probably custom build one to your specs.
