Camper Mirror coversion

I have a 02 3500 and wanted to change to camper mirrors. There is a new style which is square and has power and turn signal but will not work with a 02'. The seller (on ebay) said he had heard of a conversion modual or plug that would make the 02' compatable but didn't know where to get one. Anyone heard of such a device?

i have a set of towing mirrors that fit 99-02 chev,gmc 2500/3500, they are 10"x10"(glass), the glass is electric, the slide in/out is manual..i bought newer truck, so have old ones spare, in box, used for 1 year. like new..joncar

Most likely the issue is that the mirror's turn signals are LEDs, and they don't draw enough current to trigger the flasher. The "module" he mentioned is likely an electronic flasher, which doesn't depend on current draw to work.

However, the stock flasher may still work if the other bulbs inthe circuit draw enough current.
