Ok guys, first of all do not kill me! I know this is a diesel forum but I need info for a turbo for my 4.7L gaser below to make it more efficient. I am not deserting the diesels, I love them but, for now, they do not sell what I want and need. Maybe in 2010! I WILL come back from the "Dark Side"! I am figuring that a turbo for a diesel would work best because I am looking for low end torque, 1500 to 2000 RPM, and not high end HP. I need a max boost of 5psi. I am also looking for a rebuilt turbo instead of new and figure the GM and Dodges would be good choices, abundant and reasonably priced.
I am figuring that a GM-8 would be too big for 4.7L causing delayed spool up. How about a GM-4 or GM-5, are they smaller? What about Dodge turbos, Holset? I am not familiar with Dodge turbos.
Anyone know where I can look at turbo power curves for any of these turbos?
As usual, any help will be very much appreciated.

I have sold the K1500 below to my younger brother who really needed a diesel so, it is not far from me... my heart... or my advice!
