Injection Pump Quetion

I just completed a network job for a Diesel shop and the poor fella wants to pay with parts. he owes $2k so i am willing to take a Vp for my dodge in on trade but that just covers a little over half.

He has a NEW in the box Pump part number 17800077 pump for a 6.5. I don;'t need it and I will only turn around and sell it later but was wondering if it was worth anything to anyone on here?


i figure if it is worth say $500 I would do it to help the guy out.. but need your expert advise.. After looking around here it makes me ant to by my friends dually...

See what it says on the tag rivited to the side. DB2-4911 - mechanical pump..etc
