Valdosta, GA
If you want it let me know.
I have it on a trailer now parked inside. I could possibly work out getting it to you.
Thanks

What's the story on this engine? Miles? rebuilt? Long block?

Thanks!

Not sure of the miles, the odometer didn't work.
Motor is complete, never rebuilt.
I was told it has 767 hours on it and has been in a storage shed for awhile.
I bought it to replace a 350 in my 1988 K1500 4X4 but decided not to since I bought a new truck.

Ok I couldn't ever figure out how to edit this.
I didn't mention that the 6.2 came out of a P20 van that was wrecked, so I guess from the 767 hours that it would actually have been around 30K + miles on it. It does run and sounds good even with just open exhaust.
Any way since it's on a trailer right now I could possible deliver it if the disrtance isn't to far
Thanks
BG

Ok the motor is off the trailer for now, I had to use it.
Also there are no exhaust manifolds on the 6.2 or fan belts.
If some one wants it make me an offer. I need the storage space so the motor must go.

Well I started cleaning out my shed today and the 6.2 is in the way and must go. If no one wants then I reckon next week it goes to the salvalge yard.
See what I can get and cut my losses on it.

Ok.
The 6.2L is still up for grabs. I called the salvage yard and I can only get $100.00 for it and I really hate to lose that much on it. If someone could use it, yes it runs good, make me an offer that will beat the salvage yard and it's yours.
Thanks

I wish Georgia was closer to Puerto Rico! I have a project down here that would love that engine... Good luck, and don't let a good engine go to the salvage yard for $100, a better use than that HAS to come along before too long.

Yes, I sure hope so.
I just flushed it and changed the oil.
I'm just going to keep it on the trailer and cover it back up, put it back in the shed.

I'll rescue it from the yard.

Can we get it to the DFW area of TX?
