vibration after exhaust install

I just got done installing my magnaflow 4" turbo-back exhaust sounds great and everything BUT, when I stomp on it from about 40 mph, I get a nasty vibration, it was smooth as silk before, almost feels like it's overpowering the trans, soon as I let off, smooth as silk again


any thoughts people:confused:

I had a similar problem with a 4" exhaust on my LB7, but not really a vibration. The exhaust would sometime rattle when shutting down because the clearance was so close the 4wd crossmember.

I'M SUCH A BONEHEAD!!!!! :o

when I was putting the truck on jackstands, I put the truck in 4wd for some added safety cause of the slope of my drive while jacking it up, and dumb me forgot to put it back into 2wd:eek:


love the exhaust!!!!

quiet while cruising, NICE and THROATY while standing on it :cool:

not to mention the added power

don't feel too bad, you aren't alone, go see my "rear end clunk" thread in drivelines...it was the steps I installed, glad you found your problem.
