What symptoms or indications make you say that it is not working? Are you not seeing engagement upon demand for towing or decelleration upon the need?

no light on dash and when driving there is no diffrence in aceleration or
deceleration when driving I've been told I should see a big diffrence compared to my gas truck specialy on decent of a hill when let off on the petal

No action untill you hit the brake on decelleration.

Same thing happened to me. I had to buy a new shifter. I believe the button on the end of the shifter went south.

Hope this helps
