it is my understanding that the factory fuel filter has undergone continous changes/upgrades. How good is it now in the 07 lbz?
I found this about the Baldwins that I have:
"newly designed Baldwin fuel filters that meet the most recent 2005 GM requirement. The GM cross reference is 97385488. The old filters were a single pleat with a rating of 5-7 microns. The new unit is a dual pleat design rated at 2 microns for even more injector protection."
I have been looking into secondary fuel filters, but how bad are the newest oem filters?
Who does not use a secondary filter and plans on their motor holding up for many miles?
