I think it's pretty obvious.
Toyota doesn't make a truck that can tow that big of a trailer. If they did don't you think they would be using one?

Just like GM doesn't make anything big enough to tow their race trailer...

Are you seriously comparing a class 8 truck to a pickup?
I guess that is sort of the same thing I was doing too eh? LOL.

Well put.
If you believe what you see on TV commercials, all you need is a Toyota 1/2 ton to haul whatever you have. Class 8's are obsolete now, thanks to Toyota.
Well I might as well toss in my two cents worth.
Having operated class 8 stuff for many years, there is just nothing like one to tow just about anything on the planet given that it is set up for the job to be done.
I have a couple friends here that are in the "small haul" business of moving RV's, Boats and various other items and have used the HD pickups up until recently.
Both of the guys finally got tired of the constant repairs on the little rigs from the heavy use.
They bought 5 year old Pete's with 500K on them now. This is nothing as far as miles goes for a class 8 rig.
What they do with these big monsters does not even hardly work them but there fuel mileage is great cause the big O'll kitty thinks its running empty.
The truck is so much overkill for the job that its pathetic but the cost of operations are far cheaper.
As Maverick mentioned if you believe TV ads you would never need anything more than a little Toyota to do almost anything.
I run my stuff hard and I do mean Hard. 105,500 lbs loaded and this is all the time and not just an ocasional thing.
33.5 ton net payload.
Those big race trailers like the one shown here with the KW pulling it are a heavy piece for sure and the stuff that its carrying is just way to much for any of the pickups to realistically pull around.
I have seen many of the older class 8's now showing up around here pulling horsie haulers and RV's.
Cheaper to buy and far less troubles in the long run.
Hook a 35 foot 5ver behind a big Pete and it don't even know its there.
Sure looks kewl too.
Saw a KW go through town the other day with a chassis mount RV and it was pulling a late model Dmax dually behind

Exactly... :D
As my sig line shows, I have both a GM and a Toyota and each has its uses. If you'd believe all the marketing out there then GMs will pull a train (or something like that I think I saw on TV...). Not to mention that drinking the right beer will win you the wimmins and a certain fast food will help you lose weight and... :D
Hmmm fast food, lose weight. :D Im on it like a bad smell.
Where do I get this magical stuff ??????????????????
