engine dies when i press throttle

When sitting at stop light I press throttle to take off, the engine shuts off, just like I had turned the switch off. It will start right back up but will shut off again, this will take 3 or 4 tries before it will go. It will shut off in neutral or drive when I touch the throttle. This has happened 4 times in the last 2 months. Does anyone have any idea what is wrong?
This is a 2001 Duramax with 60xxx miles, fuel filter has 5xxx miles.
Edge with Attuide has been on for 40xxx miles without any problems.
Truck has been flawless till 2 months ago.
Need help with this, tech at dealer has no idea.

Is the Edge still connected?

Yes, disconnect the edge. Also look at the engine harness near the two big connectors. Look for chafing. Also look at the FICM harness for chafing and of course check both battery connections.
