Hey everyone,
I recently purchased a 1991 GMC Suburban V1500, which is in need of new tires. The previous owner replaced the original set with passenger car tires instead of LT's. Now the factory size is 235/75-15 and I would like to upgrade that size and type. I am unclear as to the size of the wheel and just how big a tire I can safely go. I know the diameter is 15", but can I fit a 10.5" tire on the factory rim or not? It has a bone stock 6.2L with a Banks turbo kit. I was thinking a 31 x 10.5/ 15 would work, but I need to know for sure. Thanks
