I just picked up an old fuel pump at a local swap meet for a couple bucks, and I now have a question. Can I use this pump as a back up pump with a 6.2? Apparently it is the same model that the origional ford gt-40s and cobras had. It is adjustable, from what I found, from 5 (or 6?) to somewhere above 10 psi. Should I bother keeping it, or should I clean it up and throw it on ebay?

ebay, more than 7psi can harm your injector pump

Good pumps, but I wouldn't use it on a GM Diesel. They don't fail often, but when they do, they dump their inerds into the fuel system. It will regulate down to 5 PSI, though. The separator bowl is a nice feature to catch rust and junk from the tank.

I guess I'll list it this weekend. Thanks!
