When the ECM/PCM is in its mount in clove box, is it grounded? I'v had mine in and out that for now it just lays there.

The wiring harness supplies dc common - ground

There should be metal clips that hold it to a bracket, They are metal to metal,

With electronics, it does not hurt to have the case gronded.

On mine, the clips ARE metal, but the bracket is plastic. No grounding there.

I've had mine in and out so many a times, I just shove it back in :rolleyes:
Always playing around. Might get myself in trouble with all those wires ;)

With all the ground and battery problems with these vehicles, I opted to ground mine...
