Would like to take a deeper look at this problem, suggestions.
First,
Pump and FDS are 40K old
Lift Pump, relay, sending Unit are brand new.
Symptoms.
Stalls under constant RPM pherhaps 1 every 4th trip. The Motor will auto recover and continue without a problem for xx period. It acts like its been turnen off then turned back on. Turns off for 10 seconds then runs with out an issue.
Hard starting, again after xx amount of starts, seems to be more prevelent after a short shutdown. Takes upwards of 10 minutes of cranking to restart.
Concerned it will eventually just not start or die on the road. Willing to spend cash but currently not willing to take it to the dealer and admit defeat.
Buy the way were can you find a description, explanation and or diagrhams on how the fuel injection pump with all the attachmnets work. The large dealer manual says nothing on the pump or the PMD module. Is there a web site or on this site?
