Hi guys, I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel on my engine swap. Engine is in, exhaust hooked up but now I ran into yet another problem. I am hopeing somebody can help out. The wires (glow plugs, & main power feed 4 total) coming from the starter to the cab must have some special routing. They are either too close to the manifolds or the down pipe, or both. I'm almost at the point of wrapping them in some tape and crossing my fingers that they wont burn through. I've tried looking at some other trucks, but with the fenderwells in it is tough to see. Plus people get kinda of nervous when somebody sticks their head in your wheel well..... As always, thanks for the advice!

go to a local race shop, or maybe a larger auto parts store, then again you could order from summit.

but you should be able to find it cheaper locally.

get some thermal jacket, its heat resistant cloth that you will run the wires through, its rated for 1200F (800F direct contact). and the starter wires on my truck come up the front of the engine and then back to the firewall and to the distribution block. (my wiring is different since my starter is 24volt)
