Well, after the heavy winds are gone herein Florida I can relax, felt like I was driving throught El Paso when the wind was blowin hard and maken my burb wander.
Everything is tight and I'm considering addressing this wandering in heavy winds somehow.
I've seen in a cummins converted H1 they reinforced the steering box from below by using an extended pitman nut/shaft configuration externally replacing the pitman nut then a brace and bearing off of chassis to hold that extended shaft effectively eliminating and steering box movement.
However, the idler arm is not as easy to fix from excessive movement and looking for some ideas to try in this area.
I've got other trucks 2000 F-350 7.3 PS 4X4 CREWCAB and a 94 Dodge cummins 3500 they don't wander!
