Old white / grey smoke question again!

03 duramax has 145000 miles on it and smokes at idle. I had it to dealer who checked balance rates etc. and said all is fine. No codes at all. Said some diesels just smoke. :confused: Also fuel,air filters changed. Seems like it lacks power too.
Any suggestions out there would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.. Smoking at idle and lack of power are classic symptoms of injector failure. I would suggest you find another dealer that’s experienced with the Duramax. Your repair could be covered by special policy 04039B, which extends coverage for injectors to 200kmi/7yr for 01-04 LB7 Duramax engines. See the following article for more info.

Yup - time for a second opinion! Three trucks, three sets of warranty injectors, all had classic smoke at idle symptoms.

Thanks Guys, Will take it to gmc dealer and have them check it. Will let you know what i find out.
